The wall or ceiling is coated, dried, sanded and checked through the agreed process.
Final Handoff
We confirm the surface is ready for primer and paint or continue into painting when included.
A few things
worth knowing.
Can every texture be skim coated?
No. The existing finish needs to be evaluated first. Bond, thickness, paint layers and substrate condition can change the preparation or repair required.
Will the wall be perfectly flat afterward?
The goal is a cleaner, smoother surface, but the underlying framing and substrate still affect the final plane. We set realistic finish expectations based on the existing wall.
Is converting texture to smooth messy?
It is a finishing project, so sanding and dust management matter. Protection and cleanup are part of how WPS plans the work.
Can painting be included?
Yes, when it fits the project. The estimate will clearly state whether the scope ends at paint-ready drywall or includes primer and paint.
