Four steps.
A clearer way forward.
Confirm the Surface
We review the drywall, existing repairs, texture and the final finish you want.
Set the Finish Scope
We define the finishing approach so expectations are clear before the work starts.
Build and Refine
Joints, corners and surface defects are coated, dried, sanded and checked through the finishing sequence.
Final Check
We review the finished surface and confirm it is ready for primer and paint, or continue into painting when included.
A few things
worth knowing.
What is a Level 4 finish?
A Level 4 finish is a common smooth drywall finish used for walls and ceilings that will receive typical flat or low-sheen paint. The right finish level still depends on lighting, paint sheen and the final appearance expected.
When does skim coating make sense?
Skim coating is useful when a surface has widespread imperfections, old patchwork or texture that cannot be corrected efficiently with isolated repairs.
Can you make textured walls smooth?
Often, yes. The existing texture and substrate need to be evaluated first. Some surfaces can be skim coated while others may need repair or preparation before smoothing.
Do you paint after finishing?
Interior painting can be included when it fits the project. The estimate will clearly state whether the scope ends at paint-ready drywall or includes primer and paint.
